Born in Athens, Greece, mother of two boys.
Has studied economics at the University of Athens, and received a DEA on European Economy, Université de Paris II Sorbonne -Pantheon. She holds a diploma of teacher of classical ballet. She speaks Greek, English and French.
As Expert Minister Counselor on European Affairs in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Greece/ EU Department, has worked at the Permanent Representation of Greece in the EU and the European Commission; was member of Ministerial cabinets, MfA EU Directorate General focusing on EU policies, EU budget, Euromed cooperation and project development, for 30 years. In 2010 was appointed Special Secretary for the Development of International projects in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, focusing on promoting European and international finance in Greece.
In 2013 joined cabinet of the Mayor of Athens and in 2014-2019 became Head of his office and Chairman of the Board of the Athens Development and Destination Management Agency. Since 2020, she has focused on identifying ways to empower the community of action on climate change issues in Greece and S.E. Europe.
Currently co-Founder, Chairperson and CEO of the Climate Change Hub (Cchub.eu), Senior Policy Advisor at ELIAMEP and member of the Leadership Council of the
Democracy and Culture Foundation.
Author of several studies and articles published in the daily press and in special thematic editions.
